Job summary

Kastle is seeking a Security Systems Solutions Architect (SSA) to lead technical discovery and solution validation for complex security projects. The SSA will coordinate with sales, product, and integrations teams, ensure designs meet codes and customer specs, and develop standardized discovery tools.

The role requires expert knowledge of access control, video surveillance, VMS, and IP networking, with the ability to travel up to 50% within assigned regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical design, or a related field.
• 5+ years designing or engineering physical security systems, including complex multi-system projects.
• Expert-level knowledge of access control, video surveillance, VMS, and intrusion detection.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery on complex projects with emphasis on new product engineering or third-party integrations.
• Validate scope for technical accuracy before contract award (network, integration, infrastructure).
• Partner with Integrations on third-party API integrations and SDK deployments; transfer scope at contract award.
• Design integrated security solutions spanning access control, video, VMS, and intrusion detection.
• Develop and maintain discovery standards, tools, and reference designs.
