Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking a Lead Installation Technician to install, test, and repair security systems at client sites. The role involves direct client interaction, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely service and high-quality installations.

The position requires extensive hands-on experience with access control and video systems, strong electronics knowledge, and the ability to work with IP networking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing access control or video systems.
• Technical school background is a plus but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong electronics knowledge (AC/DC theory, circuits) and ability to use DVMs.
• Familiarity with IP networking and Cat5 technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and security systems.
• Ensure systems are installed properly and on time per Kastle procedures.
• Provide feedback to identify barriers to timely project completion.
• Communicate with Managers/Project Manager to resolve discrepancies.
• Provide regular progress updates and accurate documentation for completed work.
• Maintain inventory and company vehicles/tools; participate in end-of-year and interim counts.
• Coach team members on Kastle installation procedures and quality standards.
