Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff Security Risk Analyst in the San Francisco Bay Area to identify, assess, and report on operational, security, and compliance risks. You will drive automation of risk workflows using AI agents and coordinate with risk owners to implement mitigation plans.

The role requires 7+ years in security risk management, hands-on scripting, and familiarity with major frameworks (ISO, PCI, NIST CSF, COSO). Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on security risk management and technical experience.
• Experience building automated workflows, Python/APIs, and AI agentic solutions.
• Industry certifications (CRISC/CISA/CISM/CISSP) or equivalent.
• Familiar with ISO, PCI, NIST CSF, COSO and related frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor, and report on security risks.
• Automate risk management workflows with AI agents.
• Evaluate control effectiveness and drive remediation.
• Develop KRIs and KPIs for leadership reporting.
