Job summary

Fortress Information Security LLC seeks a Senior Security Risk Assessor for its Orlando HQ with remote options. You will review security assessments, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and vendors to mitigate third-party risks.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven working experience in cybersecurity control reviews or risk management.
• Experience in customer/client-facing environments.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or energy is a plus.
• Solid understanding of risk management concepts and audits.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Ability to follow scripts and meet deadlines in fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficient with common business software and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on workload and deadlines per service levels and use standard frameworks and tools.
• Work independently while maintaining professionalism with clients.
• Collaborate with partners and third parties to assess and mitigate third-party risks.
• Represent Fortress as the primary contact for clients and vendors.
• Execute the VCA workflow for assigned clients and evidence reviews.
• Identify findings, coordinate remediation plans, and track closure.
• Support account management activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
