Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (GC2S) seeks a senior Business Unit Security Manager to lead security operations for the GC2S BU. The role partners with BU Leadership to translate business goals into risk-based security priorities, mentor a multi-discipline team, and drive cross-sector collaboration to deliver a compliant, mission-focused security posture.

The candidate will enforce campus security policies, coordinate with government agencies, and manage crisis response across Huntsville site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years of proven security experience or Master’s + 8+ years
• Current Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI and SAP access
• Experience with NISPOM, self-inspections, personnel clearances, and physical security for classified areas
• Proven track record leading large-scale crisis management and security operations teams
• Ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance team environment

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations for the GC2S BU across a dispersed campus
• Mentor and develop a high-performing security team and establish accountability
• Enforce security policies, drive cross-site collaboration, and ensure compliant security posture
• Oversee crisis management with rapid decision-making, clear communication, and stakeholder coordination
• Develop complex security plans, budgets, and partnerships with HR, Legal, and facilities
