Job summary

Nordstrom's Security Platform Engineering team in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to act as the operational backbone of our security engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical program management experience, preferably in security, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Ability to manage complex multi-workstream programs independently from scoping to delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior engineering, risk, and compliance partners.
• Experience defining, tracking, and reporting OKRs and KPIs for leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to run productive leadership meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program management across a broad portfolio of security domains, tracking deliverables and dependencies.
• Serve as the main liaison for cross-functional partners on security initiatives.
• Drive alignment in forums where security lacks direct authority.
• Build and maintain program rhythms: sprint cadences, status reports, and roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain OKRs and KPIs across security platforms for leadership reviews.
• Support onboarding of new engineering hires with ramp plans and handoff timelines.
• Identify risks early and bias toward resolution over escalation.
• Collaborate with the manager on team restructuring and hiring coordination.
