Job summary

FINRA is seeking a vigilant security professional to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations in Tysons, VA. The role supervises contract security officers, supports security programs, and coordinates with vendors to maintain staffing and respond to emergencies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 8+ years in law enforcement or security management, strong communication and investigative skills, and the ability to work outside normal hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and minimum eight years of experience in law enforcement, executive protection, or security management.
• Security leadership experience with supervisory responsibilities and incident response.
• Familiarity with intrusion and access-control systems and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and supports day-to-day security operations for assigned FINRA multi-site locations.
• Supervises contract security officers and liaises with security vendor to maintain staffing levels.
• Provides on-site executive protection to executive management as needed and responds to emergencies.
• Identifies threats, conducts assessments, and recommends corrective measures to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Drives security program initiatives, training, and adherence to FINRA security standards.
• Conducts investigations related to security breaches or incidents and documents findings.
• Supports security for meetings, conferences, and hearings and coordinates physical security projects.
