Cohere is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to strengthen security across cloud-native environments and infrastructure. You will advocate for secure practices, automate controls, and partner with engineering to scale security without slowing delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering, threat detection, and collaboration across teams to protect enterprise AI platforms. Cohere offers remote-friendly work and multiple global offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SecOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Security or related security engineering.
• Hands-on security engineer who automates controls and builds scalable solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI) and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems and Terraform in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to leadership and partner teams on security risks.
• Harden cloud-native environments with secure-by-default controls.
• Own secure infrastructure design with IaC modules and reusable code libraries.
• Manage IAM/RBAC and unify access control across cloud services.
