Job summary

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years security or related experience.
• Minimum 2 years Shift Supervisor level or comparable status.

Responsibilities

• Meets requirements of all subordinate security positions.
• Owns relationship with location.
• Activities directly affect customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of location, including:
• Ensures that security staff meets all requirements, including certifications and licensing mandates.
• Schedules personnel to support site operations.
• Effectively communicates staffing needs to main office.
• Assists recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality security candidates.
• Develops staff in both technical and professional skills, including ongoing refresher training for all guarders throughout calendar year as well as tracking such training.
• Evaluates effectiveness of security staff response, knowledge, and competency, including providing feedback on employee performance reviews and evaluations.
• Periodically review post orders and recommend improvements, including administering Supplier's site safety program.
• Ensures accurate and timely execution of administrative reporting.
• Demonstrates deep knowledge of best practices in the security industry.
