Job summary

Samsara is seeking a skilled Security Incident Response professional to join our Security Operations Team. You will monitor security events, lead incidents as Incident Commander, and drive digital forensics investigations in collaboration with Employee Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security groups.

You will also develop runbooks, automate workflows, and refine processes, while mentoring engineers and contributing to incident response strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response.
• Ability to communicate investigative findings to technical staff, executives, and legal.
• Ability to build scripts/tools to support investigations, with Python proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.
• Lead information security incidents and investigations by developing incident response strategy.
• Deliver clear security guidance for incident response and insider threat initiatives.
• Coordinate services, capabilities, and implementations to support security operations.
• Embed Samsara’s cultural principles while scaling globally.
