Job summary

Samsara Inc. is hiring for a Security Incident Response role within the Security Operations Team. You will monitor security events, lead incidents as Incident Commander, and drive digital investigations influencing Employee Relations, Legal, Compliance, or Information Security cases.

You’ll also create runbooks, automate workflows, and collaborate with a diverse team to advance security initiatives. This role is open to candidates in US Pacific Time Zone and supports a flexible, remote model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Incident Response.
• Ability to communicate investigative findings to technical staff, executives, and legal.
• Ability to build scripts/tools to support investigation processes with Python.
• Mentor and train security operation engineers on data collection and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.
• Lead information security incidents and investigations, developing incident response strategy and coordinating across teams.
• Deliver clear security guidance for incident response and insider threat initiatives.
• Coordinate services, integrations, and implementations to support security operations.
