Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to lead the Security Operations Center, drive process improvements, and advance detection engineering across Pearson’s environments. This role requires rapid incident response, automation, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

You will refine SOC processes, develop detection capabilities, and ensure alignment with Pearson’s security standards and regulatory requirements, including on-call coverage for 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments or government clients.
• 4+ years in security operations, incident response, and detection engineering.
• Hands-on with SOAR, EDR, NDR, and SIEM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations, including incident detection, triage, containment, and root cause analysis.
• Develop, implement and optimize detection logic, playbooks, and automated response workflows.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams and translate technical findings for stakeholders.
