Job summary

Duck Creek Technologies is seeking a senior Security Operations Engineer II to join our Information Security team. You will analyze, design, implement, monitor, and evaluate security controls to protect our cloud-based systems and data.

You will stay current with evolving hacker methods, support disaster recovery, and coordinate with teams to integrate secure development practices, incident response, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity or related domains.
• CISSP certification or equivalent.
• Experience in security operations, incident response, and threat management.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies.
• Strong cryptography, network security, and security monitoring tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, monitor, and evaluate security systems.
• Support information security operations and controls for internal/external security.
• Configure server, appliance, desktop, laptop, and mobile security.
• Implement firewall, IDS/IPS, DLP, and NAC solutions.
• Provide Tier 2 support for secure remote access.
• Support DR planning and business continuity testing.
• Monitor logs and generate security incident alerts.
• Develop and maintain information security policies.
• Assist in risk assessments and regulatory compliance reporting.
• Support penetration testing and SOC incident response.
