Job summary

Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in the Georgia foothills is seeking an experienced security leader to direct, monitor, and assist in all hotel security and safety programs. You will perform protective, preventative, safety, and security enforcement, manage incidents, and train staff on emergency procedures across the hotel complex.

The role requires familiarity with CCTV, access control, incident reporting, and budget awareness while collaborating with department heads to ensure guest and staff

Qualifications

• Safety and security related courses are preferred.
• Previous Law Enforcement, Military, Healthcare, or Hospitality related Risk Management experience.
• Must have basic First Aid training.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
• Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
• Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement Security related SOPs, property rounds and inspections.
• Complete daily documented tours of entire hotel complex, promote safe work practices.
• Understand Emergency procedures (Fire, Medical, Weather, Bomb Threat).
• Understand all security systems – CCTV, Radio, Key Card System, Fire Panel.
• Maintain incident reporting forms based on factual investigations.
• Train managers and associates on Emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with hotel department heads and MODs to ensure security.
