Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead end-to-end SP&LP services across multiple business units within WWOS. You will conduct investigations, monitor data, and collaborate with site leadership and external partners to ensure security outcomes.

The role requires 2+ years in security or related fields, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and willingness to travel up to 50% with 24/7 shift flexibility including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively monitor and report outcome for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence/critical incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as department's liaison and security/crisis management subject matter expert keeping site leadership informed on department's key issues, strategies and the performance.
