Job summary

Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, seeks a senior Chief of Security for the 711th Human Performance Wing. The role directs security operations for the Wing and its subordinate units, ensuring compliance with regulations and meeting mission needs.

Responsibilities include information protection, SAP/SCI, cyber and physical security, AT, and risk mitigation. Requires SFPC, US citizenship, and ability to obtain clearance; telework may be situational.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance.
• Travel and/or performance of additional duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Directs all security operations for the 711 HPW and subordinate organizations.
• Provides security advice and risk mitigation to the 711 HPW Commander and subordinate organizations’ Commanders and Directors.
• Oversees Information Protection, SAP/SCI, Cyber Security, and Physical Security for 711 HPW missions, including AT and dovernment facilities.
• Plans and executes Science & Technology (S&T) Protection and Risk Identification and Security Countermeasures Programs.
