Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Security Technician to install, maintain, test and troubleshoot enterprise-level electronic security systems across commercial and institutional environments in the Austin area. You will work with access control, intrusion detection, CCTV cameras and structured cabling, reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to deliver precise installations.

Qualifications

5+ years installing electronic security systems (commercial) with emphasis on access control and cameras.
TOPS Access Control license required.
Current Texas Electronic Access Control Device Installer License required.
Experience with access control systems using Mercury boards.
Experience with CCTV/video surveillance systems.
Strong knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage installation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Clean driving record; able to pass MVR.
