Job summary

Insight Global's client in the Boston area is seeking a Senior Security Installation Specialist to install, program, and commission integrated security systems, including IP CCTV, alarm sensors, access control devices, and security software.

The role supports complex new construction and retrofit projects across hospitals, universities, data centers, and industrial facilities, with a focus on safe, high-quality installations, testing, documentation, and mentoring of junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing and troubleshooting access control, CCTV, and alarm sensors.
• Experience programming systems via Software House or Genetec.
• Ability to read construction documents and electrical theory.
• Massachusetts or Rhode Island Class D Electrical License.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational testing, system verification, and customer acceptance.
• Train end users and generate detailed installation reports.
• Mentor less experienced team members and coordinate with trade contractors.
• As a senior representative of Siemens on-site, maintain professionalism and customer-focused communication.
