Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Principal Security Field Engineer in the United States. You will meet with customers to answer questions, train teams, and create content—slides, white papers, and potentially code—to scale security knowledge across thousands of users.

You will work on security architectures, compliance questions, and enablement programs across a range of Databricks products. You will be a security expert with 7+ years in pre- or post-sales roles, comfortable explaining complex concepts

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical pre-sales or post-sales experience explaining hard security concepts.
• Experience across multiple security domains (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, network and endpoint security, web apps, vulnerability management, identity management, SIEM).
• Some scripting or programming, interest in using AI to scale impact.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions on security architectures and compliance.
• Create customer-facing content: slides, white papers, enablement materials.
• Collaborate with product management/marketing to improve product messaging.
• Engage in internal automation and enablement for field staff and customers.
• Educate and train Databricks teams and customers on security topics.
