Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a seasoned Security Engineer to design, implement, and support our information security stack across cloud and on-prem environments. You will mentor teams, lead security initiatives with IT and business units, and drive automation to improve detection and response capabilities.

The role requires 5+ years in security operations, SIEM expertise (Splunk/Gurucul), and hands-on Cloud/SaaS security experience.

Qualifications

5+ years in security operations, incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
Experience with SIEM platforms for log analysis, alert correlation, and dashboards.
Experience with security incident investigations and forensics.
Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK framework and common TTPs.
Hands-on in Cloud Security, IAM, Network Security, or EDR.
Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Unix artifacts and security controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain security to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, implement, and support Jazz Pharmaceuticals' information security stack.
Mentor Security Engineering and Operations teams.
Drive security initiatives with IT and business to maintain strong posture.
Deploy and upgrade security technologies and programs.
Monitor threats, assess risks, and counter attack scenarios.
Automate security monitoring and response processes.
Act as trusted security advisor during design, development, and testing of solutions.
