Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC is seeking a senior information security engineer to drive vulnerability management and configuration baselines for our custom software. You will operate independently to ensure projects are completed on time and mentor junior staff while maintaining policy compliance.

The role supports patching, automation, audits, and incident response, with a hybrid work model and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 2 year degree) in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years IT experience and 3+ years IT Security experience.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning platforms and management frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise endpoint security tools and DLP.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade and patch applications and OS; track certificates; remediate vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security tools with corporate infrastructure and assist audits.
• Define gaps and research solutions to meet toolset needs.
• Monitor tool health; perform maintenance and remediation per process.
• Ensure vendor-supported versions of OS and applications are in use.
• Document compliance efforts; address gaps per established processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and drive implementation.
• Support security incident resolution and risk assessments.
• Mentor junior staff and assist security interns.
