Job summary

United Global Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior security engineer to support enterprise environments across multiple platforms. You will design, implement, and operate security controls, APIs, and integrations with vendors.

The role requires hands-on experience in IAM, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security, plus strong scripting and automation skills. Travel for onsite work will be compensated by the project, with full eastern time zone coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/SE/InfoSec or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting large IT environments and security systems.
• Hands-on security engineering across cybersecurity technologies and integrations.
• Experience integrating enterprise tech via APIs, SDKs, web services, and vendor interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, security platforms, OS, networks, IAM.
• Linux deployment, patching, scripting, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Automation and response workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML.
• Experience supporting IAM, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability mgmt, SIEM, SOAR, cloud security.

Responsibilities

• After-hours maintenance, incident escalation support, and operational handoffs as needed.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and security engineers to resolve incidents.
