Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to embed security into the SDLC, partner with engineering, and drive shift-left security across AI-enabled development. You will design guardrails, automate scanning, and reduce risk enterprise-wide.

You will lead the adoption of secure-by-default practices, provide hands-on guidance, and collaborate with architecture and delivery teams to strengthen software security from code to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with strong security background.
• Experience designing or reviewing security controls for AI-enabled applications.
• Proven ability to lead secure development practices and governance in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to define requirements, deliverables and timeframes; escalate issues to resolve them.
• Develop and enforce shift-left security controls across CI/CD pipelines and AI-enabled workflows.
• Architect and maintain a secure application security toolchain with high-fidelity signals.
• Measure and report security KPIs; drive continuous improvement and remediation.
• Assist with security reviews, threat modeling, and governance for AI-enabled software.
