Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and embed security into every stage of the software development lifecycle. This role focuses on shift-left security, secure-by-default practices, and collaboration with engineering to prevent vulnerabilities before production.

You will design guardrails, enforce pipeline gates, and drive AI-enabled security strategies across the enterprise to reduce risk at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience embedding security into the software development lifecycle across engineering teams.
• Ability to design and enforce shift-left security controls in CI/CD and AI-assisted development.
• Strong knowledge of security testing tools (SAST/DAST/SCA) and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of security guardrails across the SDLC.
• Configure and enforce pipeline security gates to prevent non-compliant code from reaching production.
• Deploy and manage enterprise security scanners across the development platform.
• Develop security-as-code policies and governance for AI-enabled workflows.
• Partner with delivery teams to establish safe usage patterns for AI coding assistants and tooling.
• Monitor security health metrics and drive remediation efforts.
