enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and help embed security into every stage of the software lifecycle. You will be at the forefront of our shift-left security strategy, collaborating with engineering teams to embed security from code to production.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be US citizen due to contractual/access requirements.
• Senior Security Engineer to join Enterprise Application Security team and embed security into SDLC from first line of code to production.
• Design and enforce shift-left security controls across AI-assisted development workflows, IDEs, commit time, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security guardrails to catch vulnerabilities early in the development process.
• Configure and enforce pipeline security gates ensuring code and artifacts meet security standards prior to production.
• Deploy and manage application security scanners (SAST, DAST, SCA, Container Scanning, Secret Detection, API Security Testing).
• Develop security-as-code policies and enforcement rules at scale across the engineering organization.
• Partner with delivery enablement teams to govern AI coding assistants and AI-enabled tooling.
