Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and embed security into the entire SDLC, from code to production, enabling shift-left defenses across pipelines.

This high-impact role partners with software delivery and architecture, focusing on automating security controls, risk reduction, and secure AI development practices for enterprise-scale systems.

Qualifications

• Experience embedding security into the SDLC.
• Ability to design and enforce security guardrails in CI/CD.
• Experience with AI-assisted development security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift-left security controls across IDEs, commits, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and enforce enterprise security gates for code and AI-generated content.
• Deploy and manage security scanners (SAST, DAST, SCA, secret detection).
• Develop security-as-code policies and governance for AI-enabled tooling.
• Partner with delivery enablement to establish safe AI coding practices.
