Job summary

Fuze Health is hiring a security engineer who will review designs, implement infrastructure security controls, and drive automation across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will work with multiple teams to improve posture, and support audits and customer/security requests.

The role requires hands‑on Kubernetes, scripting in Python/Bash, and experience with cloud security, firewalls, IDS and log management. Remote friendly with travel minimal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infra, apps and cloud.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, Terraform or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in cloud and on‑prem.
• Familiar with firewalls, IDS, log management and auth systems.

Responsibilities

• Review system design and implementations to assess security posture and advise architecture.
• Use scripts and internal tools to ensure coverage of the security agent suite.
• Develop automation to integrate various systems via Python and similar languages.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures for network, containers, and cloud.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and container platforms.
• Support audits and customer/vendor security requests.
• Network protection, access control, education, training and awareness.
