Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a security engineering professional to strengthen infrastructure, application, and cloud security across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will review designs, implement controls, and automate security workflows using Python and Bash.

The role requires hands‑on Kubernetes experience, firewalls/IDS, log management, and auditing support. BS in CS, US travel as needed; visa sponsorship not available; remote-friendly nationwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in cloud and on‑prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Review system design and implementations to assess security posture and make recommendations.
• Develop automation using Python and other tools to integrate security systems.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud environments, and containers.
• Support customer and vendor audits by providing security documentation and evidence.
• Monitor and respond to security events across networks and cloud environments.
