Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to lead security initiatives across our products, cloud platforms, hyperscale GPU clusters, and critical infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with engineering, platform, infrastructure, and security teams to identify and reduce risk through architecture reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability management, secure development, and incident response.

This role will help scale product and platform security practices by turning findings and emerging threats

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information security experience across product, application, or infrastructure security.
• Deep expertise in threat modeling, security architecture, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of CVSS scoring, risk quantification, and remediation prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Lead security reviews across products, cloud platforms, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Define remediation plans with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews for new products and platform changes.
• Provide guidance on secure design, authentication, data protection, and infrastructure security.
• Develop reusable security standards and guardrails for secure scale.
