Job summary

AGS LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to drive enterprise security controls across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments. You will implement IAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management while mentoring other engineers and analysts, partnering with Infrastructure, Network, Compliance, and business units.

You will lead detection tuning, threat intelligence integration, and incident response playbooks while maintaining auditable security evidence and aligning with program standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or security field.
• 6+ years delivering enterprise security solutions in hybrid environments.
• Hands-on with IAM, SIEM/detection, or vulnerability management.
• Experience producing security metrics for leadership review.
• Experience documenting runbooks and procedures.
• Familiarity with NIST, CIS or ISO 27001 controls.

Responsibilities

• Execute enterprise security program roadmaps and risk decisions.
• Lead hands-on delivery of security initiatives with planning and sequencing.
• Implement IAM across hybrid environments including MFA and SSO.
• Administer identity lifecycle, just-in-time access, and app registrations.
• Manage privileged access controls and reduce standing admin rights.
• Expand RBAC/ABAC and federation coverage across apps.
• Engineer and tune SIEM/log management and alerting rules.
• Develop playbooks for incident response and automated triage.
• Support vulnerability management and patch remediation with SLAs.
• Coordinate remediation with IT ops and process audits.
• Create technical playbooks and contribute to risk reporting.
