Job summary

Aledade PBC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer II to secure enterprise and cloud-native environments, with a focus on Security-as-Code and API-first automation. You will partner across teams to design and operate secure systems at scale.

You will mentor others, drive incident response, and shape IAM and data-driven security strategies. This remote-first role offers flexible schedules and a benefits-rich package.

Qualifications

• BS / BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field, 8 years security domain experience without degree
• 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted advisor in a team setting
• 4+ years of experience coaching other engineers or analysts
• Experience with Federated Identity tools - Okta/Entra ID/Ping Identity
• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tools - Omada, Lumos, Sailpoint, Saviynt
• Cloud IAM Architecture: Deep knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS IAM, Azure Entra ID, or GCP IAM)
• Experience with Automation - Python, Terraform, PowerShell

Responsibilities

• Working cross functionally to design, build, and operate solutions that automate security capabilities
• Leveraging data to understand trends and opportunities to improve security posture and executing with stakeholders
• Leading incident response efforts and remediation in a cross-functional environment
• Crafting security documentation such as policies, standards, baselines, and SOPs
• Mentoring and coaching more junior engineers or analysts
