Job summary

MFS seeks a Sr. Security Engineer to implement and maintain security measures protecting people, property and information assets. The role requires understanding multiple security disciplines and modern IT interoperations, with oversight responsibilities.

The candidate will analyze security controls, support automation, IAM governance, incident response, risk and compliance, and collaborate across teams to strengthen security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related security, technical field.
• 3+ years of Information Security-specific work experience is required.
• ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) is required.
• CompTIA Security+ is required.
• GIAC, ISSEP, SSCP, CISSP/CISM/CRISC considerations mentioned in role.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter resource in Cyber/Information Security, maintaining a solid understanding of the field and its programs, practices and controls.
• Influences the implementation, integration and maintenance of enterprise-class security programs and solutions.
• Support efforts for assessment, establishment and monitoring countermeasures to protect assets.
• Collaborate with senior security practitioners and business groups to design and implement controls within risk tolerance.
• Automate manual security-related tasks to improve efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and administer identity, authentication, access governance, and AIM processes.
