Job summary

Anduril Industries is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to own product security for the Sentry Tower platform. You will secure the boot chain on NVIDIA Jetson compute across generations, including firmware and kernel signing, UEFI Secure Boot, and encrypted root filesystems.

You’ll also own runtime hardening, key management, and patching strategies for fielded systems, collaborating with our security team to meet accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering with a security focus on Linux or embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing a secure boot chain: code signing and chain of trust.
• Experience with PKI, certificates, HSM or PKCS#11-backed signing, and full-disk encryption.
• Strong Linux internals knowledge: boot flow, kernel/initrd, systemd, access control.
• Proficiency in C or Rust and shell scripting.
• Experience hardening real systems and handling CVEs on deployed fleets.
• Ability to explain security decisions to engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the signed boot chain across compute generations: firmware and bootloader signing, UEFI Secure Boot, and full-disk encryption.
• Manage signing keys infrastructure: HSM-backed keys, separation of trust roots, key rotation, and build-time enforcement.
• Define and implement platform hardening: network exposure, privileges, serial console, and USB lockdown.
• Drive vulnerability management for the fielded fleet: CVE tracking and patching strategy for EOL hardware.
• Collaborate with product security to turn requirements into shippable implementations.
