Qualifications

• 4+ years troubleshooting systems issues and analyzing logs.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and developing mitigations.
• 4+ years scripting, programming and security code review.
• Knowledge of at least two languages: Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go.
• Experience identifying security vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation techniques.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Guide SDLC for devices from security design and threat modeling to code reviews and security testing.
• Analyze the security of platform components of consumer devices.
• Develop tools and techniques to improve device security at scale.
• Provide security expertise and consultation to device product teams.
• Identify security risks and work with engineers to implement mitigations.
• Develop new security policies and procedures.
• Mentor junior/mid engineers and conduct security-focused reviews.
• Collaborate across software, infrastructure, and operations to embed security from day one.
