Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Security Engineer to help strengthen our security across devices, apps and cloud services. You will analyse applications, implement security automation, mentor engineers, and contribute as a security thought leader within a fast-moving, security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship background in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks using command line tools experience
• 5+ years of work in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans experience
• 4+ years of (non-internship) scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages experience
• Knowledge of at least two of the following programming languages: Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

• Analyse the security of applications and services, discover and address security issues.
• Build security automation and respond quickly to new threat scenarios.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide security thought leadership.
