Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Security Engineer III to design and implement defense-in-depth security across endpoints, identity, cloud, and network. You will own security tooling portfolios (EDR, MDR, SIEM) end to end and define secure baselines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5–10 years in security engineering, architecture, or operations.
• Experience designing layered defense-in-depth controls across endpoints, identity, network, and cloud.
• Hands-on experience deploying and administering EDR and SIEM platforms.
• Experience leading security incident investigations as a senior escalation point.
• Experience evaluating and selecting security tooling with PoC testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement layered security architecture across endpoints, identity, email, network, and cloud.
• Manage EDR, MDR, and SIEM tooling portfolios end to end.
• Extend tooling coverage to email, web security, vulnerability management, and identity protection.
• Evaluate platforms, run PoC pilots, and recommend vendors.
• Own one or more security platforms end to end from deployment to ongoing management.
• Tune SIEM rules and logs to widen detection and reduce false positives.
• Define and maintain secure configuration baselines to harden systems.
• Lead investigation and response for significant security incidents.
• Serve as senior escalation point for security issues.
