Job summary

Vivid Money seeks a Security Engineer to own and improve the security of our internal environment, including identities, SaaS apps, endpoints and AI tooling. This is a hands-on senior role: design controls, find gaps, drive changes, and build automation to scale.

You will lead Detection & Response (SIEM), administer IdP and access recertification end-to-end, and improve SaaS security posture with DLP controls for AI tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security operations, corporate IT security, or endpoint engineering.
• Strong with a SIEM (Splunk, Elastic, Panther, Sumo Logic) and an identity provider (Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace).
• Working knowledge of endpoint security (MDM, XDR/EDR/AV) and email/phishing defense.

Responsibilities

• Own SIEM alerting end-to-end and tune detection rules.
• Act as first responder for security incidents with clear runbooks.
• Administer IdP and run access recertification end-to-end across tools.
• Hunt for over-permissive access and enforce least privilege/PAM.
