Job summary

UNO Center - New Orleans, LA, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer. This role designs, implements, and supports security controls across infrastructure, platform, and application layers, acting as a subject matter expert for assigned controls and guiding architects, peers, and management through opportunities and challenges.

You will participate in incident response and production outages, with on-call rotation, and support regulatory and audit inquiries.

Qualifications

• Experience designing security controls for infrastructure, platform, and application layers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security controls at an operational level with minimal supervision.
• Assist in designing and developing various security technologies at the infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
• Make recommendations on best practices for configurations and operational enhancements.
• Work on call rotation for incident response and production outages.
• Conduct risk assessments, maturity evaluations, and threat modeling of security technologies.
• Support management with responding to regulatory and audit inquiries.
• Offer guidance and assistance to Security Engineers.
• Provide direction to associates seeking technical guidance.
