Job summary

UNOS is seeking a highly technical senior information security professional to lead our security operations team and serve as the enterprise Information Security Architect.

This manager-level role reports to the Assistant Director of Information Security and partners with Architecture, Operations and Engineering to deliver on business and technology initiatives.

You will design and integrate security systems, mentor staff, and ensure continuous 24/7 protection across UNOS environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information/cyber security; 7-10 years preferred.
• 2+ years managing a 24/7 security/tech operations team; 5+ years people management preferred.
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II, NIST SP 800-171 and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 24/7 security operations team and incident response.
• Architect security systems; align with business and IT strategy.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Operations, and Engineering on roadmaps.
• Mentor staff and manage security tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, Tenable.
