Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen application security through hands-on work and strategic initiatives. You will implement security measures, manage IaC, and lead security reviews with cross-functional teams.

You will configure monitoring, triage findings, and deliver training to elevate security expertise. The role collaborates with IT and Platform teams and engages with security vendors for audits and assessments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in writing and deploying secure code, including proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience in configuring and managing monitoring and alerting systems for web applications and incident management.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on security enhancements: write code, develop IaC solutions, and create security reference implementations.
• Monitor, configure, and manage security alerting to detect threats and triage findings.
• Lead and deliver training sessions to elevate team security expertise.
• Contribute to architecture and security review processes with emphasis on secure proposals.
• Collaborate with IT and Platform teams to manage permissions and secure configurations.
