Job summary

Shipt is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Network and Endpoint Security team. You will design and maintain secure endpoint and network architecture, and develop tools to automate detection, analysis, and response.

You will mentor teammates and participate in an on-call rotation while advocating security best practices across engineering teams. You will also contribute to documentation, review designs, and stay current with industry standards, compliance requirements, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network or endpoint security architecture.
• Experience with cloud architectures and compliance like NIST CSF, SOC2, HIPAA.
• Hands-on with EDR, PAM, DLP and macOS enterprise management.
• Strong automation using Python, JavaScript, Go, or Bash.
• IaC and version control (Git/GitHub), plus deep networking and SIEM knowledge.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Foundational knowledge of responsible AI and LLM use in security context.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure endpoint and network architecture for Shipt.
• Develop custom security tools to automate detection, analysis, and response.
• Support the resolution of production security issues and contribute to best practices.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
