Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a security engineer to strengthen our security posture across cloud and on‑prem environments, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, network protection, and access control.

You will develop automation in Python and Bash, collaborate with multiple teams, and contribute to audits and compliance efforts while enabling secure digital healthcare delivery. Remote-friendly, requires a BS in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of security engineering experience; visa

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in Cloud and on-premises environments.
• Hands-on experience with security systems (firewalls, IDS, antivirus, authentication, log management, filtering).
• Familiarity with network security and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Web apps, APIs and web-related protocols.
• Travel within the US may be required (minimal).
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• No visa sponsorship available at this time.

Responsibilities

• Review system design and implementations to assess security posture and make recommendations.
• Develop automation to integrate systems and improve coverage of security tools.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures for networks, containers, and cloud.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and container platforms.
• Support external audits and customer/vendor assessments.
• Contribute to Education, Training and Awareness on security topics.
