Job summary

Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Senior Security Engineer – Information Security to advance global security initiatives. You will work directly with the Director of Security Engineering to research adversarial techniques, conduct risk assessments, and deploy risk-mitigating controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven experience with network security analysis or intrusion management.
• Experience with malware and vulnerability identification and mitigation.
• Experience identifying software and application compromises and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with secure deployment and usage of infrastructure-as-a-service.
• Demonstrated experience in FedRAMP and/or CMMC certified environments.

Compensation

For U.S.-based candidates only, base salary ranges from $112,500 – $202,500 per year. Compensation may include incentive compensation, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Eligibility requirements apply.
