Akamai Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer II to help protect leading brands by building high-performance, low-latency systems. You will contribute to bot detection, request risk analysis, and fraud prevention, working on scalable features from concept through deployment.
You should have 2+ years of software development and experience with Java or Go, plus familiarity with HTTP, JSON/XML, and ML/LLMs.

These solutions are for bot threat detection, protection and request risk detection. We allow our customers to better manage bot and agent traffic to help improve the internet for millions of people.

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 - $171,000/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
