Job summary

Apollo.io is seeking a senior leader to own detection and response (D&R) for our Security team. You will build detection systems, response automations and investigations, and lead our most complex incidents.

You’ll set standards and architecture enabling the team to catch threats without depending on any single person. Responsibilities include shaping D&R strategy, engineering detections, and guiding incident response across cloud, SaaS, and corporate systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in detection and response or related fields.
• Experience leading D&R strategy or multi-quarter initiatives.
• Hands-on design of detection architecture in modern SIEMs.

Responsibilities

• Own D&R strategy and translate it into multi-quarter initiatives.
• Design detection architecture and run detection lifecycle.
• Lead IR with on-call, playbooks, and incident commander duties.
• Develop AI-enabled triage, enrichment, and automated response.
