Job summary

Apollo.io is seeking a senior leader for Detection & Response to own strategy and execution across cloud, SaaS, and corporate systems. You will design detections, automations and investigations, guiding engineers and setting standards for security洞

You will drive MITRE-aligned detections, incident response playbooks, and AI-assisted triage, with strong collaboration across Engineering, Legal, and Leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in detection & response, security engineering or IR with proven impact.
• Led D&R strategy or multi-quarter initiatives with measurable results.
• Hands-on design of detection architecture and production systems on modern SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Own D&R strategy and turn it into multi-quarter initiatives tied to Security KRs.
• Mentor engineers to own detections and lead incidents.
• Ship MITRE ATT&CK-aligned detections, threat hunts and automations.
• Manage IR readiness, incident response playbooks and on-call processes.
• Lead high-severity incidents as senior technical lead or incident commander.
