Job summary

Artemis is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join Apollo, its managed detection and response service. You will lead investigations across cloud, identity, endpoint, and SaaS, determine threats, and guide customers from signal to resolution.

As a founding analyst, you will shape how cases are analyzed and how the platform detects and responds, working closely with engineers to ensure the service scales with customer needs and evolving threat landscapes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on security operations in a SOC/MDR.
• Investigation depth across identity, cloud, endpoint, and SaaS.
• Fluency in attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (MITRE ATT&CK).
• Evidence-based approach to close gaps between suspicion and confirmation.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted investigation or automation.
• Excellent written communication and strong customer-facing skills.
• Comfortable with 24x7 analyst coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own the investigation and the decision from pickup to close: determine impact and verdict.
• Reconstruct attacker activity across identity, cloud, endpoint, and SaaS; balance AI-assisted and manual analysis.
• Drive containment with customer authorization; present recommended actions and next steps.
• Move at speed to address threats within severity targets; prioritize work accordingly.
• Be the security partner customers trust by clear, customer-facing summaries and reasoning.
• Hunt for threats with AI-assisted methods and translate findings into new detections.
• Help design the service by shaping investigative standards, workflows, and customer reporting.
• Ensure platform evolution by feeding learnings into detection engineering and product.
