Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions supports the DoED FSA CPSS program from Washington, DC and is seeking a Senior Security Controls Assessor to lead assessments of security controls, develop SCT plans, and deliver executive findings. This is a contingent, remote-position opportunity.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the field and a CISSP certification, with the ability to obtain a High Risk Public Trust clearance. The role involves coordinating with ISSOs and contractors, producing risk-based approvals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least ten (10) years related experience.
• Senior industry professional such as CISSP or equivalent required.
• At least five (5) years of experience as a Security Controls Assessor or similar audit findings response role.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain a High Risk Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with FedRAMP, RMF, FISMA and NIST guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and satisfy information assurance and security requirements based on policy and regulatory demands.
• Lead comprehensive assessments of controls to verify effectiveness and outcomes.
• Schedule and lead assessments with stakeholders and provide SAP, SAR, and system certification support.
• Prepare security and privacy assessment reports with findings and recommendations.
• Develop and execute a SCT plan aligned with DHS RVA standards; deliver final reports and executive briefings.
