Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions, a federal-focused cybersecurity and engineering services provider, seeks a senior DevSecOps/Platform Engineer to support DoED FSA CPSS in Washington, DC. This remote role demands extensive CI/CD, IaC, and security automation expertise.

You will work with AWS, GitLab, and Atlassian tools to ensure secure, compliant delivery pipelines and platform readiness for government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years of senior DevSecOps/Platform engineering experience.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Engineer CI/CD workflows using customer’s Atlassian Cloud, FSA GitLab, and NGDC AWS environment.
• Implement pipeline-as-code, reusable templates, automated quality gates, environment provisioning, configuration automation, and release controls.
• Integrate unit, integration, end-to-end, security, compliance, and infrastructure testing into delivery workflows.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and cloud deployment patterns that support portable and severable applications.
• Maintain pipeline tool inventories, code standards, reusable libraries, SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Support compliance with NIST SP 800-218, OMB/CISA guidance, STIGs, and CIS standards.
• Provide platform troubleshooting, performance improvement, access support, and technical guidance to development and Government stakeholders.
