Adobe is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to build automation and AI-assisted frameworks to scale web application protection across a diverse edge-security environment.

You will transform manually heavy security workflows into reliable, scalable systems, covering vulnerability response, WAF policy validation, coverage assessment, and cross-vendor automation, while mentoring peers and elevating engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software engineering, security engineering, or security automation
• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or equivalent
• Experience building production services with observability and reliability
• Knowledge of AI/LLM-assisted security workstreams
• Ability to work independently on unstructured problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready automation and AI-supported systems for web and edge security across WAF/CDN platforms
• Transform repetitive security processes into scalable services, APIs, pipelines, and self-service options
• Automate vulnerability-response workflows with AI-assisted analysis and WAF rule creation
• Build abstractions and integrations to reduce cross-vendor operational complexity
• Create evaluation frameworks for AI-assisted security workflows and outputs
• Partner with security architects and product teams to translate requirements into capabilities
• Raise engineering bar through architecture, testing, CI/CD, observability, and mentoring
• Identify where AI and automation can improve team effectiveness while preserving human judgment
